Our Company Background

cgs_about_newThe Charles G. Snyder Co. began in 1976 as a compliment to the Snyder Realty Company which was founded in 1944 by Mr. Snyder’s father and grandfather. This third generation real estate appraisal and consulting firm provides an array of services in both Ohio and West Virginia on a routine basis.

The firm originated with a specialty in residential property during which Mr. Snyder received the RM designation from the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers, now The Appraisal Institute. The firm grew in terms of staffing and property type appraised with Mr. Snyder also receiving the MAI designation from AIREA. Increased demand for the firm’s services resulted in the establishment of a second office in Canton, Ohio.
